Triptoe Suite for horn and piano is a solo for the intermediate horn student, with the mood of a Baroque suite. The melodies and harmonies have the flavor of folk dances, rather than Baroque style. Each movement has its dance-like rhythm, conveyed in the titles.

The four movements are:

  1. Tap the Toes
  2. Peasant Dance
  3. Ceremonial
  4. Hopping
