Stomp is contemporary music for piano solo, written for the intermediate to advanced performer. It is a lively piece with a syncopated jazzy feel. The melody jumps around quite a bit, with a recurring bass that punctuates the music like a kick drum. The music is challenging, but once the piece starts to flow, it’s really fun to play.
